PROLOGOS - Finnish National Association of Speech Communication Prologos, Finnish National Association of Speech Communication, was founded in 1989. Prologos aims at promoting the research and instruction of speech communication. The association also monitors and exerts influence on national policies in the field of communication education in Finnish society. The association unites researchers, teachers, instructors and other professionals of Speech Communication, and it has regular contacts with other national organizations in the field of communication. The members of Prologos is currently about 160. The association arranges conferences and seminars, including an annual scientific meeting of Finnish professionals of Speech Communication.
